I'VE probably got as many handbags as shoes, so there's quite a lot at the back of my wardrobe! My favourite one is a little orange Mulberry shoulder bag, but it's looking a bit bashed now. I've taken it on too many nights out and it's become "disco-fied".

When I go on a night out I take a tiny bag with me and try to wedge all of my stuff into it. As a result I've lost my purse more times than I can count, and the issue number on my bank card is 31 because I've had to replace it so many times. I've learned my lesson, and I try to carry big bags with me now.

The bag I'm carrying at the moment is a big slouchy beige leather one that I got in Urban Outfitters on a trip to New York. I carry so much stuff around in it. My lip gloss is essential, as is my diary, which I keep losing, and my sunglasses, although I'm not getting much of a chance to use them with the weather at the moment.

When I'm working I always have peppermint tea and Vocalzone throat pastilles to keep my voice in shape, and there's usually a script in there, although more often than not it's in bits. I'd love to be one of those actors who carries their script around in a neat folder, but I'm just not that organised. I'm obsessed with newspaper crosswords, so I usually have a paper as well as a dictionary, a pencil and a rubber. The rubber is essential - I'm not very good at them!
